Tubing
We had lunch and drove up the mountain to go tubing. We got there early and had to wait before going in. It took a long time, so I had plenty to climb, jump and slide on the snow outside.
Finally! It was our turn to go in. We grabbed our tubes. Those look like big donuts you can sit in. I grabbed a blue one because it looked bigger. We lined up to ride the magic carpet. The magic carpet is like a walkway, but you can just stand there, and it will take you to the top.
There was another line at the top to slide down. Ugh! Another line? So many lines! I couldn't wait, so I dropped the tube to play on a snow pile while dad waited in line.
Dad called me to go back to the line. It was my turn. I climbed up the donut. I was excited! Dad pushed me and then... Whoosh! It started getting faster, it was foggy and windy on my face. I closed my eyes a little, so the wind wouldn't get in. But soon it started slowing down, and I made beep sounds. That was the sign to get out of the tube and pull it out of the lane so other people could slide after me.
That was fun! I wanted to do it again, but I had to get in line all over again. That's okay. I did it again and again. I went four or five more times.
The last time I went down, instead of sitting with my feet down, I lied with my feet up. That made the tube go even faster. That was fun! I wanted to go again, but our time had run out.
No worries. I could still play in the snow outside. We did that for a while and then climbed back on the car to go back home for dinner.
It was getting dark, and we drove by some cities on our way back. I like seeing city lights at night. I saw the buildings around Bellevue. We stopped by Kirkland to get dinner and then went home.
